Flagstaff - Las Vegas
It was our last day in Flagstaff.
We got up, slowly packed the rest of our stuff and were cleaning the apartment.
In the morning (as we left the car outside) there was frost all over the car.
It was time to move somewhere warmer. We just wanted to drive to Las Vegas, so we had
plenty of time. Around noon, we were all done and left the apartment. It was
really good. We had to do few things before leaving (post office, J’s work,
store). After that, we just drove through the town and got on freeway heading
west (again).
It was somewhat boring drive (we took this route before).
Everything was supposed to be arranged, so we were (pretty) relaxed and ready
to start next chapter. Nothing special on the road. In Kingman, we took
slightly longer route, just to see something different. It was not much
different, unfortunately. Mostly desert. There was town of Bullhead
(Arizona) and across the river, it was
Laughlin (Nevada)
with maybe 10 big casinos. It was interesting (and strange) view. And … to Las Vegas. We stayed in
cheap motel on the outskirts of Vegas (still had slot machines). Too tired and
lazy to do anything.
