We again enjoyed our visits of San
Francisco (they are described below). Not much to add, I guess. J.
had to work for next three days. We had our taxes done (and hopefully
by now e-filed). The weather was (and is) still pretty nice, we are
enjoying it. Just before heading to Southern California, I took walk
at Castle Rock State Park. Again, I dropped J. off at work and drove
to the park. It was about six and half miles of walking (nice loop).
It was actually really nice. A lot of sandstone rocks, in the middle
of the forest (and even relatively close to Skyline Boulevard). Quite
a few changing landscapes (rocks, valleys and forest). There was even
a tiny waterfall. Great. After that, below are described our first
two days of visiting southern California. Quite interesting. The
drive to Los Angeles area, where we visited Pinnacles Park (nice,
crowded). Our first day ended in Van Nuys. On Sunday, we got screwed
by Los Angeles Marathon, saw a bit of city (and the “tourist”
parts) and slept in Huntington Beach. All described below.
Unfortunately, not the greatest area for pictures.
